Tory Culture: Right but Repulsive?
For our first event CChange is breaking new ground by holding a panel discussion on the Conservative Party's culture and ways in which it can be improved.
What is wrong with the the Conservative Party? Why does it alienate non-Tories? Does it tend to attract the politically reactionary and the socially maladroit?
Up to now the focus of attention has been on the need for the Conservative Party to abandon outdated and unpopular policies. The panel will examine the nature of Tory internal culture and whether it too has contributed to the Party's estrangement from the British public.
