The role of Chirman is large: to help provide vision and aims for the club, and provide direction and integration of the committee. To chair monthly committee meetings, inform the committee of significant natonal, regional and local swimming related changes and trends. To encourage the flow of communications and open debate, and monitor actions arising. To provide a link with Wycombe Leisure Ltd. and local clubs.
Mick has been on the committee for 4 years, becoming club Chairman in November 2004, having previously taken on the difficult task of Treasurer.
He has been involved with the club for 5 years since his two sons began their swimming careers, and is frequently found at the pool early in the morning or during evening sessions.
