2006 Wycombe Masters Meet - results

Thank you for your support!

Well done to all those swimmers competing in our first ever masters meet.

We were priviledged to have two record setters. Duncan McCreadie's (Maidenhead) time of 2:16.89 took a new world record in the 60-64 age group for the 200m freeestyle. Anne Cork (Slough and Eton Dolphins), swimming in the 55-59 age group bettered the 100m backstroke British record with a time of 1:22.97. She then repeated the feat in the 200m IM with a time of 3:01.48.

The top 19-24 age group swimmer was Matthew Fox from Acton with team mate Miriam Smith following in second.

Not suprisingly given her two British records Anne Cork led the women's competition with Rotraud Palmer (City of Oxford) following in second.

Wray Shewell-Cooper (Potter's Bar) was top man beating Calum McKinlay (Camden Swiss Cottage) into second

The Team trophy was won by City of Oxford who outswam Camden Swiss Cottage by the smallest of margins.
