David launches a two pronged campaign to clamp down on worst offenders.
The number of complaints about wheel clampers is getting more and more acute. The worst area affected appears to be the patch of land at the back of West Street near the bus station.
David is fighting hard for those people who have been caused distress. He has launched a two pronged campaign to improve the situation.
1. Laison with local businesses
David is urging local businesses not to use the worst offending firm. Many have already responded to his requests. The Meridian Centre, for example has stopped using the firm. David will carry on trying to persuade all our local busineses to stop dealing with these rogues.
2. The Security Industry Authority.
David is pushing for the quick introduction of new regulating powers to clamp down on the offending companies. He is in regular communication with the Security Industry Authority on the issue.
These rogue wheel clampers are a huge problem. David will shortly be presenting his dosier of complaints.
If you have had any bad experiences with Havant wheel clampers, please get in contact with us - Your case will be useful in convincing the Security Industry Authority to act now. Afterall, until this happens, people will continue to experience intimidating behaviour.
